Zoe’s ProEdge Painting is seeking to hire an Office Assistant (no experience required!) for part- or full-time employment with our successful team.   • Assist the Office/Business Manager in the creation and maintenance of several administrative and job site – based systems and procedures.
  • Set the tone of our office by showcasing our company’s mission and values. 
  • Help manage the customer relationship via phone, email and text.
  • Respond and follow up with clients and staff in a timely manner. 
  • Learn and utilize industry specific programs and apps to input and maintain client accounts, record interactions, and track project stages. 
  • Serve as a liaison between the office, field staff, customers and vendors.
  • Assist in processing project contracts, work orders, invoices, change orders, and other necessary project documentation. 
  • Maintain the project schedule, confirm appointment details, update clients and staff, and make adjustments, as needed.  
  • Assist with estimating procedures, jobsite visits, new hire onboarding, and staff training meetings.
  • Schedule and coordinate operational meetings and company events. 
  • Create and maintain Zoe’s social media and marketing campaigns. 
  • Manage inventory for tools and materials and order supplies as necessary. 
  • Help identify areas of need and assist in creating roles for additional office and field staff.
  • Occasional local travel: represent the company at trade shows and events, purchase and deliver materials to job sites, and run other errands, as needed. 


This position is office-based (not remote) and currently located in a home-based office setting. Employees must be able to reliably commute to the office (in Manchester, CT) and the surrounding area (i.e., Vernon, Glastonbury, Tolland, Coventry, South Windsor, etc.) on a regular basis.


Employment will begin with a part-time to full-time paid 90-day training/trial period to assess skill level and ability to fulfill the requirements of the job. The flexible part-time work schedule is expected to be between 20-30+ hours per week, depending on employee preference and demonstrated skill set. 

After the trial period, the Office Assistant will be hired part- or full-time at $15+ hourly, depending on skill set. Employees can expect regular wage increases with increased skill and level of responsibility on the job.
